Layers differs from the other pieces in this series as it uses a layering technique to overlap and naturally trap air between the sections as they fuse together in the kiln. Cream glass overlaid on clear glass.

Each individual component is hand formed in the glass blowing studio before being cast in the kiln. Once the casting process is complete, Charlie hand polishes the glass to achieve the desired effect.
